Killer Rock Sounds Like This | Hard-Fi | Tiesto Remix

A post-punk orchestrated Clash, grows up in the suburbs, debuts during an influx of MTV glorified bands such as Franz Ferdinand and slowly develops their sound and releases music to a generation of rock-ready, post-electronic indies. Okay. So what I am talking about? Hard-Fi. English indie rock never sounded so sweet and felt so right. With so much of today’s progressive sounds expanding from the electronic movement, its rare to come across such a well-developed band as this. Dating back to the beginning of the decade, Hard-Fi has pursued a path of rock excellence. This past week the group released a long awaited third album by the title of Killer Sounds. After a three year hiatus, the band kicks off a UK tour September 21 in Norwich. Lead singer Rich Archer encourages fans, saying “it’s taken a little longer than expected but we’re there now and we hope our fans will agree that it’s been well worth the wait.” That was enough for me to bring you today’s music spotlight. Oh, and despite this post’s rant about pure rock instrumentation, it would be an injustice to deprive listeners of this excellent Tiesto remix. Listen UP. RABBLE on.
