Oh summertime…When it’s hot, you sweat. When you Dance Dirty, you sweat. It’s only right that we release That’s So Rave’n Vol. III to ignite the night moves and get y’all on your feet again! We’re so sorry for the wait, but with summer classes and future projects taking most of our attention, we hope you understand. Happy summer everybody – we hope you had fun at HARD, but there is plenty to look forward to before we head back into the classroom in the fall! In doing so, make sure to be safe, drink a lot of water, and we’ll see you at Outside Lands in SF, Fyfest in LA, Glitch Mob (August 19 in Los Angeles @ The Nokia Theatre), and Identity! Calling I Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso I Live Preview

edc11c 176.jpgSwedish House Mafia’s position as the leaders of the EDM movement continues to be solidified as they support and expose more DJ/Producers from their native state. Alesso is the most recent artist to join Avicii and SHM on their journey that seems destined for world domination.

The Swedish Trio was kind enough to give us a sneak peek of a new collaboration between Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso titled “Calling” at the iTunes Festival in Båstad, Sweden. Classic Swedish synth melodies and driving house bass are instantly delivered to your synapses where they may remain indefinitely. Be on the lookout for its release, find a video and live rip from their show below. Listen UP. Rabble ON.

Revolver – Philter (Avicii Remix)

Sunshine I Avicii & David Guetta

In anticipation of his upcoming F**k Me I’m Famous Tour, David Guetta has joined forces with Avicii to formed a duo that will leave us all craving more. As Avicii continues to sky-rocket in popularity riding tracks like Levels and Fade Into Darkness we can expect more collaborations with industry leading artists like Guetta.

The new song, “Sunshine” showcases Avicii’s signature synth melodies and incorporates Guetta house perfection to shake speakers and dance floors all around the world. Keep an ear out for the mastered release on Guetta’s new album Nothing But The Beat, out August 30th in the States. Here’s a live rip to tease you until then.

On A Whole New Levels I Avicii I Clockwork Remix

Another leader of Los Angeles’ Electro House scene, Clockwork, dared to put his own take on one of the biggest tracks of the summer, Avicii’s Levels. He opens the track by paying tribute to the Avicii melody we all know and love before laying down some of his own noise.

His recently released original mix, Weaver also showcases his hard-hitting, bass infused electro/house style following the tradition of contemporaries like Porter Robinson and Feed Me. Clockwork gained notoriety in 2008 for his mash-up of Lil Wayne and The Office Theme Song (over 2 million YouTube views) but has thankfully turned to more serious productions in the last few years. With support from artists such as Congorock and JFK of MSTRKRFT, it seems as though he has barely scratched the surface of his producing potential. Be on the lookout for big things from this up and coming artist.
